BS2IDE 2.10 - RSE independence

Since version 2.10, BS2IDE is no longer based on Remote System Explorer (RSE) provided by the Eclipse TM project (feature org.eclipse.rse).

Due to restrictions and suspended development of RSE (and its limitations and problems), the BS2IDE version 2.8 introduced its own view (BS2000 Explorer) for handling file management as a replacement for Remote Systems view.
With version 2.10, all RSE dependencies were removed and it is no longer required to be installed.

Please check the following key changes in this release:

BS2000 Explorer navigation tree structure

BS2000 Explorer navigation tree structure has been updated. Filters, as well as POSIX files are now located directly under Connection (MYSERVER) as below:

openFT Transfer Mode

To define file the mode based on file / element name or extension, instead of using Remote System's "File" preference page, please use now openFT Transfer Mode configuration.
As BS2IDE has now no access to RSE registry, the custom transfer modes defined in RSE will not be moved to new version.
The default transfer mode for non defined file names is now set to Text.

RSE temporary files listener

The option to disable the RSE temporary file listener for BS2000 Cache is now removed.
If Eclipse is scheduling many Remote System Explorer Operation jobs in the background, it is advised to remove RSE plugin from Eclipse.

As RSE is also executing background jobs that are not visible to user and due to stopped development, which might cause compatibility issues with future Eclipse versions, it is recommended to completely remove the RSE from Eclipse if its other features are not in use (eg. SSH connection).
